Jeanette Judy Burke, age 81, Harrodsburg, died Monday, July 17, 2006 at Harrodsburg 9Health Care Center., Harrodsburg, KY.
Born September 1, 1924 in Wise Co., VA, she was the daughter of the late George and Callie (Steele) Jackson and the widow of Babe Ruth Burke. She was a retired Department Store Manager and a member of the Millville Ave. Church of God in Ohio. She was also a member of the Mercer Concerned Citizens and a volunteer at the Christian Life Center.
Survivors include: one daughter: Patricia Y. Burke of Harrodsburg, KY; three brothers: Bill Burke of Norton, VA, Charles Burke of Kingsport, TN, Wayne Burke of Pheonix, AZ; .
Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Hamilton, OH.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 19 5-7 pm at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
