Brenda L. Coleman, age 71, of Harrodsburg died Friday, October 25, 2024. Born December 25, 1952, in Marshall Co., KY, to the late Delbert and Della (Jaco) Jones. Brenda was the owner and operator of Plain and Fancy Hair Salon. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, and loved spending time with her family, friends and her dog Wiggles. She is survived by two daughters: Springe (Randy) Bugg of Harrodsburg, KY and Lee Hunter Coleman of Perryville, KY: one brother: Delbert Pete Jones of Springfield, KY; three grandchildren; Treyci (Brody) Votaw-Sallee, Ashlee (Kaylon) Brewer and Brendan Coleman; three Great Grand-children; Ellis Votaw-Sallee, Harlyn Votaw-Sallee and Jessie Brewer. She is preceded in death by her Son, Hunter Lee “Trey” Coleman III and brother David Jones. Visitation will be from 5pm-8pm Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington Street, Harrodsburg KY, 40330. Graveside services will be private. Pallbearers will be: Randy Bugg, Brendan Coleman, Brody Votaw-Sallee, Kaylon Brewer and Aaron Estep. Memorials have been suggested to be made to Harrodsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center, 853 Lexington Rd, Harrodsburg, KY 40330; for residence to be able to get their hair professionally done by a licensed beautician. Please write in memo line “Brenda Coleman Hairdressing Fund”.
