Obituary of Mary Ann Carey

Mary Ann Carey, 90, Harrodsburg, KY, widow of Dalton L. Carey, died Sunday, January 9, 2022, at The Willows at Harrodsburg. Born November 7, 1931, in Mercer Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Cornelia (Sanders) Cosby. Mary Ann was a retired LPN for Haggin Memorial Hospital and was a member of the St. Andrew Catholic Church. Survivors include: two daughters, Pam Heathman and Susan (Tom) Jacoby, both of Harrodsburg, KY; one brother, Owen Lee (Maxine) Cosby of Bloomington, IN; two grandchildren, Joshua & Caitlin Baer; Special Family, Angie Cheak and Jo Ann Martin. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Michael Heathman, and nine siblings, Maurice, Paul, and Bruce Cosby, Edna Creech, Georgia Cosby, VivianYates, Christine Shook, Irene Hill, and Lois Jones.. Funeral services will be 11 AM, Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, at the St. Andrew Catholic Church, Harrodsburg, KY, by Fr. J. R. Hadnagy and Dcn. Richard Abbey. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 5 PM - 8 PM Thursday, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, and 10 AM until 11 AM, Friday, at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Pallbearers are Danny Mobley, Jimmy McGlone, Josh Baer, Carlos Lane, Carl and Shane Carey. Memorials are suggested to: St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1125 Danville Road, Harrodsburg, KY 40330.
