Robert Louis Logsdon, 76, Salvisa, husband of Patricia Brown Logsdon of 56 years, died Monday, February 24, 2020, at the Bluegrass Hospice Care Center, Lexington. Born July 6, 1943, in Jefferson Co., he was the son of the late Raymond L. and Emma (Heise) Logsdon. Robert was a retired US Postmaster, a US Army Veteran, a past Rotarian, and was a member of the St. Andrew Catholic Church. Other survivors include: one daughter, Sally Logsdon of Toledo, OH; three sons, Pete (Lori) Logsdon of Salvisa, Joshua (Beth) Logsdon of Nicholasville, and Micah (Lorraine) Logsdon of Columbus, OH; one sister, Patty (Drew) Drabing of French Lick, IN; five grandchildren; one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles R. Logsdon. A Funeral Mass will be held 1:30 PM Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020, at the St. Andrew Catholic Church by Fr. Al DeGiacomo & Beth Logsdon, followed by Military Honors. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until the hour of service on Thursday at the church. Memorials are suggested to: St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1125 Danville Rd., Harrodsburg, KY 40330.
