Margaret "Pony" Goodlett, 75, Harrodsburg, widow of Harold Goodlett, died Friday, December 27, 2019 at her home. Born November 21, 1944, in Lexington, KY, she was the daughter of the late Riley Silvester and Hazel B. Rexroat Turner. She retired from Matsushita Manufacturing and was a member at Fellowship Baptist Church. Margaret was a Loving Mom, Nana, Aunt, Sister, Friend. Margaret was a very loving woman, her family was everything to her. She was strong in her Christian faith. And a mother to many children who came into her home. Margaret is survived by: one daughter: Joyce Swann of Harrodsburg and one son: Bo (Cindy) Goodlett of Harrodsburg. Four sisters: Carol Vance, Patricia (Gary) Hume and Alice Byrd, all of Harrodsburg and Susie (Danny) Jones of Perryville. Five brothers: Sam (Bonnie) Turner of Danville, Donnie (Paula) Turner of Moreland, Larry Turner of Lexington, Robert Matlock of Lexington and Ricky (Sharon) Turner of Berea and 4 Grandchildren: Levi Swann, Addie Wingfield, Matthew and Russell Sims. Margaret was preceded in death by her Brothers: Arley, James and Acey Turner; Sisters: Debbie Turner, Nancy Jones, Elizabeth Coonze, Catherine Miller, Margaret Strevels and Grandchild, Leeanna Lexi Goodlett. Visitation will be Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 11am-2pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers will be: Jeff Goodlett, Chris Goodlett, Michael Lopp, Junior Byrd, Matthew Sims, Marty Hurst and Scottie Railey. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Derek Baker and Lynn Releford. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Salvisa.
