Ronald "Bear" Hungate, 73, Harrodsburg, husband of Regina Christine Teel Hungate, died Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born January 29, 1946, in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Earl and Blanche Raider Hungate.  Bear was a true Cowboy.

          Survivors other than his wife include: One daughter: Alisha Young of Harrodsburg; three sons: Wayne Hungate, Brandon Young, and Travis Hungate, all of Harrodsburg; One brother, Earl "Doodle" Hungate, Jr., of Harrodsburg, 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, September 13, 2019 from 5-8 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel,  Harrodsburg. Funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 14 at 11:00 am at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hustonville Cemetery, Hustonville.

Pallbearers will be: Greg Robey, Tim Mink, Jim Collier, David Campbell, Chris Goodlett, Brandon Young, Mike Edmiston and Dannie Robinson. Honorary Bearers: Allen Robins, Rick Moberly, Alex McCoy, Logan Young, Cody Hungate, Ty Hungate, Mike Skull, Harvey Mitchell and Keith Driscoll.

                    The family request memorial donations be given to the Family to assist with expenses. . Expressions of sympathy may be sent at www.ransdellfuneralchapel.com
