Obituary of Sandra Thomas
Sandra Lynn Thomas, 64, Harrodsburg, KY, wife of Gary Joseph Thomas, died Friday, May 17, 2019, at home. Born November 22, 1954, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Margaret "Maggie" Wheeler True. Sandy was a retired Teacher's Aide at Harlow Elementary School, and also was a volunteer at Toliver School.
Other survivors include: three daughters: Stephanie Lynn Burus of Danville, KY, Diana Nichole (Josh Underwood) Bennett of Lancaster, KY and Candace Shay(Mark,Jr.) Sewell of Shelbyville, KY,; one sister: Trudy Dale (Earl, Jr.) Kleckner of Danville, KY and one brother: A. J. (Carrie) True, III of Burgin, KY; she also has three grandchildren. Kennedy Elaine Burus, Julian Dash True and Jace Kevin Underwood.
A private service will be held at Shawnee Run Cemetery with Bro. Logan Hazelwood officiating. Pallbearers: Mike Burus, Josh Underwood, Mark Sewell, Billy Minton, Jerry Winchester, Mark Harlow, Eli Thompson and Richard Lewis.
