Joseph Harlow, 86, Harrodsburg, KY, widower of Gladys Elliott Harlow, died Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville.  Born April 2, 1932, in Washington County, he was the son of the late Evan and Nellie (Derr) Harlow. Mr. Harlow was a retired Corning Glass Machinist and Army veteran of the Korean war. He was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, Gideon's  International, VFW and American Legion.

 

Survivors include: one daughter: Jo Nell (Carol) Harlow of London, England and one son: John (Rena') Harlow of Danville, KY;  one sister: Evelyn Morris of Harrodsburg, KY; he also has two grandchildren, Joseph (Kodie) Harlow, Evan Harlow and two great grandchildren: Lainey & Bennett Harlow. He is predeceased by a sister: Phyllis Brown.

 

Funeral services 11am Friday. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Thursday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.

 

Pallbearers:  Allen Pickett, Mark Royse, David Royse, Joseph Harlow, Evan Harlow and Lee Gentry. Honorary Bearers will be: Curtis Sherrow, Paul Blacketer Charles Johnstone, Jerry Burns, The Good Samaritan Sunday School Class and Gideon Members.
